As someone who went to school in Northern Virginia and now lives there I love seeing a magazine by women for women tailored for the area. Posh Seven (formerly IAM Modern) is a magazine that reaches out to women who live, work and do business around the Route 7 corridor. What I love about it.. is that anyone can learn or be inspired by the stories and profiles featured no matter where you live.
POSH SEVEN: Angie Goff, Finding Her Way
I was honored when the editor Hulya Aksu asked to feature me this June. Many of the questions were about staying grounded as a working mom. I tried to keep it real and emphasize how important it is see your self worth. It’s something that I think we’ve all struggled with at some point or perhaps may be dealing with now. I’ve been an over achiever and “perform to pleaser” my entire life and it wasn’t until recently that I realized some times just showing up IS good enough. Special thanks to Lindsey Williams for the interview and photographer Angela Goodhart for the wonderful photos at Lake Anne Plaza in Reston. I’ve included a link to the piece.. hope you enjoy.
